Good points in Mugello
In an incredibly close first qualifying session I managed to put in the 14th fastest time out of 32 cars. How close? No fewer than 20 cars were covered by less than a second.
So our second session wasn’t all too bad. I managed a very good time in my Jenzer Motorsport machine and got within four tenths of a second from pole-position. However, the Italian Championship is that competitive that it only gives me 10th on the grid. Still, I’ve got confidence since the pace is good! Let’s see where the races bring us tomorrow!
So the first race went pretty good as I fought my way up from 14th to 10th. It could have been better but it could have been much worse as we had a huge fight for seventh all the way down to 13th. All in all not bad and learned a lot.
So we just finished race two and I managed to finish ninth after another superb race in the Italian F4 championship. The racing here is so close that you cannot afford any mistakes, mega cool. THanks to the Jenzer Motorsport Team for another good car, lets see if I can reward you guys with some silverware in race three later today!
Well I didn’t get the silverware I was hoping for but fourth in the final race of the weekend definitely gave us all something to cheer about! So good to score valuable points on a circuit on which I felt I was not at my best. As always the Jenzer Motorsport-car was a joy to race and I am just glad I got to reward the team, my family and sponsors with some good points!
